• Beforecarryingoutanyworkonthehumidifier,includinganykindofmaintenance,itmustbedisconnectedfromthepower
supply.
• Ifwaterbeginsleakingfromtheboiler,disconnectthehumidifierimmediatelyfromthemains.
•  I fanythingunusualorirregularhappenswhichisnotdescribedinthismanual,servicetheboilerand/orreplaceit.

Ifanythingunusualorirregularhappens,disconnectthehumidifierimmediatelyfromthemains.
•  A fterextendedoperationand/orduetothewaterused,limescalecanbuildupinsidetheboiler,bringingtheelectrodes
closertogetherortothewallsoftheboiler.Theycanpotentiallybecomeelectricalconductorswhich,whenthereisno
waterintheboiler,cancausethetemperaturetorise(andthesurfaceoftheboilertobecomeblack)andtheboilerwall
tomelt(withelectricallychargedwaterleakingout);

Checking the condition of the humidifier
Carry out the following controls as shown:

Checktherearenoleaksafteronehourofcontinuousoperation.

• Checkthehumidifierisoperatingcorrectly(accordingtotheindicationsgiveninthismanual);
Every 3 days • Checktherearenoleaksinthehydraulicsystem;
• Checkeverythingappearstobeworkingproperly.
• Checktherearenoobstructionswhendischargingwater;
Every 30 days • Checkthewaterdrainscorrectly;
• Remove any limescale in the drain.
•  C heckthebuild-upoflimescaleinsidetheboilerisnotexcessive;
Every 60 days •  W ashtheinsideoftheboilerwith20%aceticacid,cleaningtheelectrodesandthesurfaceoftheboiler.
• Ifnecessary,replacetheelectrodesandseals.
Every 2 years
Replace the boiler.

9.2 Periodical cleaning of the product and parts

• Dischargewaterfromthehumidifier(see"8.2 MANUAL WATER DISCHARGE" ON PAGE 26);
• Turn off the power from the machine using the external disconnector;
• Openthepanelsofthehumidifierasdescribed"4.3 INSTALLATION" ON PAGE 12;
• Unscrewthetiethatblockstheinspectioncap;
• Removetheplugandcleanthehumidifierofanylimescale;
• Puttheinspectioncapandthetiebackinplace.
• Unscrewthetwoscrewsonthetopofthehumidifieranddisconnectthesolenoidvalvethatfeedsthewater.
