Each Voltaire InfiniBand switch accepts one RS-232 cable for the Ethernet
management port.

Replacing a defective cable in a harness

If a cable in a harness is defective, complete the following steps to replace the
cable:
1. Make sure that the power for the device with the defective cable is turned off.
2. Disconnect both ends of the defective cable from their ports. Do not remove
3. If possible, remove the cable from the harness. Otherwise, use a pair of wire
