The manufacturer assumes no warranty or liability in the event of:
• Failure to observe the instructions in this manual.
• Incorrect installation and/or operation.
• Unauthorised modification of the product.
• Other improper methods of operation.
Safety instructions
Be sure to read and follow the safety instructions in this manual.
Failure to follow the safety instructions can result in injury or even
death and in damage to property.
Safety instructions are identified by symbols. The safety instruc-
tions are introduced by signal words that express the extent of the
hazard.
The following safety instructions are used in this manual:
Danger!
Indicates hazards that might result in severe or fatal
injury.
Warning!
Indicates hazards that may result in injury, material
damage or contamination of the drinking water.
Note!
Indicates hazards that may result in damage to the
system or malfunctions.
Info
Indicates additional information and tips.
Intended use
The cold water chiller may only be used for chilling drinking water.
It is intended for use in commercial facilities (e.g. Schools, nurseries,
small systems, department stores, holiday homes, etc.). Any other
use is considered contrary to the intended use and is therefore
forbidden. Only use water or a water-glycol mixture with max. 35%
glycol content as coolant.
Use the water chiller only in closed rooms in buildings with an air
circulation without aggressive gases and liquids.
Use the system:
• Only when it is in a flawless condition
• In according with the intended use
Misuse
Do not use the cold water chiller to cool liquids other than drinking
water. Do not fill the system with refrigerants, gases, inflammable or
explosive media. Do not use the cold water chiller on an uneven or
unstable surface.
Obligations of the system owner
The system owner is the person who employs the cold water chiller
commercially. The system owner must ensure the safe operation and
proper condition of the system.
Maintenance and repair
Be sure to observe the specified maintenance intervals. The system
must be serviced 1x a year according to the manufacturer's inst-
ructions. Further information on maintenance can be found in the
separate maintenance manual supplied.
Malfunctions
Have faults and malfunctions rectified immediately by a plumbing
specialist. Further information on malfunctions can be found in the
troubleshooting chart (» Chapter 7.2 "Troubleschooting chart" on
page 57).
By attaching the CE symbol to the unit, the manufacturer
declares that the cold water chiller complies with the
relevant regulations:
