4.5.1 OMT SOFTWARE VERSION
The version number of OMT for this equipment is V1.04.
4.5.2 OMT SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Refer to the appendix for installing OMT software. After installing OMT software on the PC,
connection to the equipment can be done directly or remotely.
4.5.3 PREPARATION FOR REMOTE CONNECTION OF OMT USING WIRELESS
MODEM
A factory installed wireless modem with the equipment provides the option of remote connection of
the equipment by OMT. The wireless modem implements the link for data and SMS. An external
antenna is supplied for use with the wireless modem; ensure this is connected to the port labeled
'Modem ANT'
The power cable and data wire has already been connected to the wireless modem, customer only
need to insert the SIM card into the wireless modem.
The LED indicator on the wireless modem displays the state of the modem:
LED off: repeater power off
LED on: repeater power on, no SIM card or no connection to antenna
LED flash slowly: repeater power on, in SMS mode
LED flash quickly: repeater power on, in data transfer mode
