    EQUIPMENT MANUAL FOR RF-9122 GSM900-GSM1800 FSR 1 GENERAL INFORMATION The RF-9122 family of repeater system implements point-to-multipoint architecture through using a frequency-shifting technique. Each consists of master unit and remote unit. Their use is to overcome the antenna isolation problem in conventional repeater system.

    2 EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION 2.1 GENERAL The RF-9122 GSM900-GSM1800 Frequency Shifting Repeater consists of Direct Coupling Master Unit, wireless coupling master unit and remote units (IC/EC). Each is implemented around the common RF-9122 GSM900-GSM1800 Frequency Shifting Repeater that comprises of the following: Uplink/Downlink Frequency Selective Module selects the required channel frequency and translates it to corresponding frequency.

For OMC, in order to communicate to each equipment, unique equipment identification must be referred to, and it is entered using OMT after local commission has been completed.
