7.2 APPENDIX B: REPEATER'S INTERFERENCE TO BTS
The interference to BTS from master-unit must be minimized for the required coverage; uplink noise
output of the master-unit will give rise to the noise level at the BTS port.
The noise gain induced by the equipment at the BTS port has the following relationship:

Whilst keeping the parameters constant, such as
BTS coverage will reduce to give and the repeater extended coverage.
It is essential that in addition to ensure coverage is achieved, the uplink gain G
