10. Operation

Do not put the device into operation until you have familiarised yourself with the functions and these
operating instructions.
Check all the connections again. When you have done so, reconnect the negative pole of the car battery.

a) General operation

PWR/MUT button (8)
• This button turns the device on and off and activates muting.
• When the device is off, briefly press this button to turn it on.
• When the device is on, long press this button to turn it off.
• When the device is on, briefly press this button to enable muting. The display (5) shows MUTE ON. Briefly press
the PWR/MUT button (8) again to disable muting.
Knob (10)
• Turn this knob to adjust the volume.
• Pushing this knob enables you to customise various menu settings.
• Briefly press the knob (10):
AF > TA > PTY > VOL > BAS > TRE > BAL > FAD > LOUD > EQ > DX/LOCAL > STEREO/MONO

Display (5)
• The display (5) shows all information about the audio source that is being played (radio module, USB playback,
etc.).
MOD/ button (3)
• This button enables you to select various audio sources and operate the hands-free set (details about Bluetooth
operation can be found below in this manual).
MOD/
• Briefly press the
FM > DAB > USB > SD > AUX-IN > BT
When one of the sources is not active, i.e., no medium inserted, this source will be skipped in the selection.
