Troubleshooting

SYMPTOM
Temperature probe
reads LO
Temperature probe
reads HI
Displays are blank
CPS-2C
CAUSE
Temperature is below -58°F
(-50°C).
Probe is disconnected or
defective.
Temperature is above
140°F (60°C).
Probe is short circuited or
defective.
CPS-2C is not powered.
Flat cable between the
main and top boards of the
CPS-2C is disconnected.
CPS-2C INSTALLATION
REMEDY
Check all connections. If
the problem persists, and
the temperature is within
normal range, replace the
probe.
Check all connections. If
the problem persists, and
the temperature is within
normal range, replace the
probe.
Make sure the control is
powered.
Make sure the fuse is
correct.
Make sure the flat cable is
connected.
