    Connection 6.9 Noise measures There are two types of electrical noises: One is a noise to invade into the driver from the outside and cause the driver malfunction, and the other is a noise to emit from the driver and cause peripheral equipments malfunction.   • Page 22 Connection 6.11.2 Description of input signals This section explains about signals that can be assigned to the direct input signals DIN0 to DIN5. Operation input signals vary depending on the operation input mode. The operation input mode can be changed by the setting of the "Operation input mode selection" parameter. Refer to p.51 for details.
  • Page 23 Connection [2-Wire mode] „ FWD input, REV input When the FWD input is turned ON, the motor rotates in the forward direction. When it is turned OFF, the motor stops according to the STOP-MODE status. When the REV input is turned ON, the motor rotates in the reverse direction. When it is turned OFF, the motor stops according to the STOP-MODE status.
  • Page 24 Connection „ ALM-RST input The ALM-RST input is a signal to reset an alarm status. (The alarm will be reset at the ON edge of the input.) To reset an alarm, turn the operation input signal OFF, and remove the cause of the alarm before turning the ALM-RST input ON.
  • Page 25 Connection „ EXT-ERROR input The EXT-ERROR input is a signal for emergency stop. (Factory setting ON) When this signal is turned OFF, an alarm is generated to stop the motor instantaneously. When the TL input, HMI input, and EXT-ERROR input are not assigned to input terminals, they are always set to ON. Note And if a single input is assigned to multiple input terminals, the function will be performed when all of the terminals are turned ON.
  • Page 26 Connection „ DIR output This is a signal to output information of the motor rotation direction. The DIR output is turned ON when the motor rotates in the direction to which the positive side was set in the "Motor rotation direction" parameter. The ON state will be continued until the motor will reversely rotates.
