Setting Port for Home Monitoring

In order to access IP camera or USB camera installed in the internal network of
the router to an external network, you need to set a port forward for the port of
the camera in the setting menu of the router.
※ IP in the figure below is an example to facilitate your understanding.
1. Set IP and port when accessing a camera in the internal network(LAN) of the router.
You can set up each camera's registration information as below without creating
another router setting, when user's PC and LG Network Storage and IP camera are all
connected to the internal network of a router(LAN) as shown in the figure.
※
When accessing home monitoring menu by accessing LG Network Storage web from
external network of a router(outside home), a camera image will not show.
Camera setting value on home monitoring web menu
- IP Camera 1
IP address: 192.168.0.15(IP searched by the tool provided by IP camera manufacturer)
Port: 80
- USB Camera 1
Port: 9080(Use a value automatically assigned)
