2. Port-forwarding set-up
※ If you want to remotely connect, you must set the Port Forwarding on your router device.
What is Port Forwarding? : It maps so that a certain port used on external internet and PC
from the internal router can communicate with each other, and is safer than DMZ.
1. Check IP of the router
Start > Click Run.
2. Log onto the router
3. Search for 'PORT FORWARDING' setting in the menu explorer and set as below.
※ The layout and terms may differ by router.
IP Address : Input the Network Storage IP address for service.

Ports to Open : Input the port number for each service.

FTP : 20, 21, 55536~55538, Web(HTTP, HTTPS) : 8000, 443, Multimedia : 49815,
USB Camera : 9080~9082, IP Camera : 9070~9072
Click 'Save Settings' button.
Remote access
Enter cmd > Click 'OK' .
Enter 'ipconfig' on the
command prompt.
Enter the IP in the address and log onto the
router(Refer to the manual of the router when
logging in with ID/Password)
