Operating instructions
This high pressure washer has been designed for professional
use typically in following cleaning applications:
Agriculture, industry, transport industry, automotive cleaning,
municipal facilities, cleaning trade, construction industry, food
industry etc.
The pictorial quick reference guide
The pictorial quick reference guide is designed for helping you
when starting up, operating and storing the unit. The guide is

Unpacking and preparing the unit
B1.
Remove safety straps from the cleaner.
B2.
Remove the hose, lance and cable from the pallet.
B3.
Remove transportation caps from inlet and outlet. Con-
nect the high pressure hose and place it on the hook (B).
B4.
Place power cable around cable hooks (A and B) and lock
the cable end at cable hook (B).
B5.
The Nilfisk Antiscale device is set at the factory to a water
hardness of Slightly Hard. See table at maintenance
section. Warning indication is cancelled when set to "0".
NB! In case of Very Hard water, it is highly recommended
to use a water softener before water entry to the machine.

Release the wheel brake.

Lift in the handle and pull the cleaner's rear wheel off the
pallet and down to the floor.

For easy maneuvering, grip the handle and rotate the
machine.
Lifting and strapping for transport
C1.a The safest way to lift the cleaner is to use a forklift truck
from the front of the cleaner. (Not from side or back!).
C1.b Use the fixing points (A,B,C) when lifting with belts.
Do not lift in or strap to the plastic parts of machine as it
could become detached from the frame.

Use the fixing points (A,B,C) when securing with belts for
transportation.

Setting up the unit:
Before using the cleaner for the first time, check it carefully to
detect any faults or damage. Run the machine only when it is in
perfect condition.
D1.
The slope on which the high pressure cleaner is placed
must not exceed more than 10° in any direction.
NB! Ambient temperature should be above 0°C and not
higher than 40°C. Machine temperature must not be be-
low 0°C.

Set the brake.

Fill up detergent tank.
D4.
Fill up tank for Nilfisk Antiscale.
Switching on the unit

Connect the water supply.

Turn cable hook and pull off the cable.

Unwind hose and cable to full length before use.
E4.
Connect to power supply.
E5.
Release safety lock and ventilate the machine for air by
activating the spray gun.
If antifreeze is in machine – catch the first 5 liters of fluid
discharge in a container for re-use.
When the water flow is even, continue with the following
steps.

Connect the spray lance to the spray gun.
E7.a
Heating mode. Switch the cleaner to
Machine will turn on the heating elements, MPU cannot
be activated.
Set Fahrenheit or Celsius: When the machine is in heat-
ing mode, toggle the temperature control knob to max and
back to min.
E7.b
Pump running mode. Switch the cleaner to
Machine will turn on the heating elements and start the
MPU.
Select desired temperature by turning the temp. control
knob., max. 70°C.
Water pressure can be increased by turning the knob (A)
into (+) or decreased by turning into (-).
E8.
Pressure regulation on FlexoPower or Tornado Lance.
E9.a
Suction from internal detergent container.
Set the desired concentration of (A) or (B) cleaning agent
at the dosing knob.
E9.b
Suction from external detergent container:
Pull out the hose (B) from the chassis and connect to con-
tainer. Set the desired concentration of (B) cleaning agent
at the dosing knob.
E9.c
Suction from 25 L container: Cut out the marked area with
a knife to open the strapping points. Strap container to the
