6.3.1 General
The Repeater Management System (RMS) software enables defining the
operational parameters values for the Deko2408-09 Mini-Repeater.
The RMS software is supplied with the Mini-Repeater. It provides full access
to all control settings and monitoring capabilities. The RMS software should be
installed and run on a host computer. The RMS software can be installed on
Windows 9x/2000/XP operating systems.
The RMS allows either a local or remote connection for control of the Repeater.
However, in this Mini-Repeater, only the automatic (local) mode is available.
6.3.2 Software Installation
To install the RMS650 Software:
1. Insert the CD-ROM in the central PC CD driver
2. Start Windows Explorer, navigate to the root directory of the CD-ROM
and search for the following file:
"RMS650_Setup_ddmmyy.exe" (where ddmmyy are day-month-year of
the software version)
3. Double click on the "RMS650_Setup_ddmmyy.exe" file to run the
program
4. The Install screen is displayed (see Figure 9)
5. Do NOT change the destination folder in the screen
6. Press the Install button

7. Once the program has been installed, drag the software icon from the
following directory:
"c:\program_files\dekolink\rms650\c-RMS650" onto the Desktop
