In order to avoid damage to the compressor and cooling system, never tilt the appliance more
than 45° during transport and positioning.
After transport or handling, wait at least 4 hours after the appliance has been positioned before
switching it on. This will allow the compressor oil to level and prevent it from entering the cooling
circuit, causing irreversible damage to the compressor and the evaporator.
Never place the appliance on a flammable surface (e.g. carpet, rugs, tablecloths, etc.).
Do not position the appliance near open flames, electric cookers, ovens or other sources of
heat, such as, for example, places exposed to direct sunlight. Heat can damage the surface of
the appliance and adversely affect its operation.
Position the appliance so that the sides and rear are always at least 5 cm from walls,
furniture and other objects, and the top has at least 30 cm of clearance. This is to ensure
good air circulation and easier access to all parts of the appliance as well as to provide the
necessary space for its operation.
The appliance must not be built into furniture or masonry walls.
Do no drill holes into the appliance or attach objects to it.
The appliance must not be used if it is out of order, damaged or has suffered impacts.
To avoid hazardous situations for the user do not use accessories or spare parts which differ
from those recommended by the manufacturer. The appliance could be damaged or prove to
be a risk for the health and life of individuals.

5.3 Use

Clean the appliance before its first use (see Section 6 - Cleaning and servicing).
Insert the plug into an individually interlocked protected electric socket in compliance with
the regulations.
Only put food products inside the appliance after it has reached the operating temperature
set on the control unit (see Section 5.4 - Operation).
Food products must only be placed inside the appliance after they have been previously
refrigerated and have reached the storage temperature.
Food products should only be placed inside the appliance if they are packaged or closed in
suitable food-grade containers.
Each support rack has a maximum capacity of 20 kg.

5.4 Operation

The appliance is operated by means of digital control unit which is used to set the desired
operating temperature.
See Section 8 for more details about the control panel.
The user may carry out the following operations:
Switch on/off (see Pic.1 and Pic.3 - Section 8)
Insert the plug into the electrical socket: the current temperature inside the refrigerator will
appear on the display. In the case of a power failure, the compressor will restart approximately 3
minutes after the power supply has been restored in order to avoid damaging the appliance by
switching it on and off multiple times.
To shut off the appliance disconnect the plug from the electrical socket. Wait at least 10 seconds
after disconnecting the plug before connecting the appliance to the power supply line again.
