j Setting the Scanning Contrast
Contrast is the difference in brightness between the lightest and darkest parts of a printed document.
You can adjust the contrast the FAX-L250 uses when scanning documents to be sent. STANDARD is
the default setting and is adequate for most documents. To darken a light original, set to DARKER; to
lighten dark originals, use LIGHTER.

Press FUNCTION.

to select USER SETTINGS.

Press START/COPY, then use
SCAN CONTRAST.

Press START/COPY.
¶ The currently set scanning contrast is displayed.

you wish to set.
¶ You can select STANDARD, LIGHTER, or
DARKER.
¶ You can cancel and return to standby mode by

( STOP) button any time
