The original lead edge is taken up by the
resist roller.

The original width sensor (DWS) senses the
original.

The original timing sensor (DTD) senses the
original lead edge. (DTD output HIGH)
Step 35:
Paper feed motor (DFM) OFF
(The original is stopped with its lead edge
taken up by the resist roller.)

Copier mirror base scanning is stopped.
