System Overview

The following section describes names and functions of your system.

Front

NOTE
Your CD/DVD-ROM and CD-RW drives may differ from the illustrations described in this user's
guide.
1 Power Button (
The power button controls the system's AC input power. When the computer is turned off,
pushing the button turns on the computer. The power indicator lights up when the computer is
receiving power. When the computer is on, pushing the button turns off the computer.
2 Microphone Jack
The microphone jack can be used to attach a personal computer microphone for integrating
your own voice or musical input into a sound application.
3 Speaker Jack
The Speaker jack can be used to attach most speakers with integrated amplifiers.
4 Hard Disk Drive Access Indicator (
The hard disk drive access indicator lights up when one of the hard-disk drives is reading data
from or writing data to the drive.
