"Sport" MODE
This mode gives the most enjoyable
sporty driving experience, however, it
increases fuel consumption. Traction
is optimised to improve the car's road-
holding, also when cornering.
Activation
Starting with the "Auto" mode active,
turn the ring-nut anticlockwise and
hold it in this position for at least
half a second, until the relative LED
illuminates and the selected mode
appears on the display. The LED of the
mode selected previously will go out
at the same time. Once released, the
ring-nut returns to the central position.
Starting with the "All Weather" mode
active, turn the ring nut clockwise,
keeping it in this position for at least
half a second, and in any case until the
relevant LED turns on, and the selected
mode is shown on the display. The
LED of the mode selected previously
will go out at the same time. Once
released, the ring-nut returns to the
central position.
FAULT INDICATIONS
In the event of a fault in the system or
selector, mode change is automatically
disabled. The system will automatically
switch to "Auto" mode. In this case, a
specific alert will appear on the display.
Go to a Fiat Dealership as soon as
possible to have the system checked.

SPORT MODE

(where provided)
SPORT mode, when activated,
improves the performance of the car by
making the engine more ready during
acceleration.
To activate the SPORT mode, press
the button (1) fig. 104 located on the
central tunnel.

A screen with the symbol
a dedicated message ("SPORT
on" / "SPORT off") appears on the
instrument panel display to notify when
SPORT is activated and deactivated.
The symbol
is shown on the
display as long as SPORT mode is
active.

IDLE COASTING

(where provided)
The "Idle coasting" function allows
driving with the engine disconnected
from the wheels by operating the clutch
automatically. This allows you to drive
along a stretch of road without using
the engine brake to slow down the car,
in order to reduce fuel consumption.
The engine remains running at idle
speed to keep the car functions active
(e.g. battery charging, air conditioning,
etc.).
The icon
appears on the instrument
panel and disappears when the
function is deactivated.
Instantaneous fuel consumption is not
shown on the instrument panel display
when the "Idle Coasting" function is
activate and the dedicated message
indicating that "Sailing" mode is
activated appears.
F1B0768
The function intervenes autonomously
and
in brake and accelerator release
conditions from a speed of 25 km/h
and up to 160 km/h.
The "Idle coasting" function
deactivation is automatic and occurs in
the following cases:
deactivating the Stop/Start system
(see the "Stop/Start system" chapter in
this section);
