Top Tether belts are tted
The rear seat backrests may fold forwards
when you are driving.
As a result, child restraint systems will no lon-
ger be able to perform their intended protec-
tive function. This may also cause additional
injuries.
Always lock rear seat backrests a er t-

ting Top Tether belts.
Observe the lock veri cation indicator.

If the rear seat backrest is not engaged and
locked in place, the red lock veri cation indicator
will be visible.
¯ If the child restraint system is equipped
with a Top Tether belt:
The risk of injury may be reduced by Top
Tether. The Top Tether belt enables an
additional connection between the child
restraint system attached with ISOFIX or
i‑Size and the vehicle.
If necessary, slide head restraint

Fit the ISOFIX or i‑Size child restraint system
#
with Top Tether. In doing so, comply with the
child restraint system manufacturer's installa-
tion instructions.
