incorrect wheel and tyre dimensions
The wheel or tyre size and the tyre type of the
emergency spare wheel or spare wheel and
the wheel to be replaced may di er. The emer-
gency spare wheel or spare wheel can signi -
cantly impair driving characteristics of the
vehicle.
To prevent hazardous situations:
Drive carefully.

Have the emergency spare wheel or

The de ated emergency spare wheel is
secured in the emergency spare wheel bag in
the load compartment and is secured to the
adjustable load compartment oor in the
lower position.
Observe the following notes on removing an emer-
gency spare wheel:
Before stowing the emergency spare wheel,

make sure there is no air le in the tyre.
If necessary, allow the air to escape.

Press down the metal insert in the valve using

a pointed object, e.g. a pen.
Screw the valve cap onto the valve.

The maximum permissible speed with an

Check the tyre pressure of the emergency

spare wheel tted. Correct the pressure as
