The Session Navigator
The Session Navigator provides quick navigation and session
controls. Each button alters the functions of the push-button
encoder and the Next and Prev buttons on either side.

1. Channel. Encoder and navigation buttons control
moves the current bank by one channel.
2. Master. Encoder controls the Master level.
3. Zoom. Navigation buttons control vertical zooming. Pressing and
holding the Macro button with the Navigation buttons controls vertical
zooming for the selected track only. Pressing and holding the Macro
button while turning the encoder will reset the track height.
Pressing and holding the left Shift button in Zoom mode will allow you to use the
encoder and navigation buttons as computer arrow key emulations as follows:
Prev. Up arrow.
Next. Down arrow.
Turn encoder clockwise. Right arrow.
Turn encoder counter-clockwise. Left arrow.
4. Click. Turns on the metronome. Press the left Shift button with the Click button
to activate or deactivate both External Sync mode and transmission of MMC.
5. Scroll. Press once to advance the current playback position
by one bar. Press a second time to engage scrubbing. While
scrubbing is active, the Scroll button will blink.
Press and hold the Loop button in the Transport to use the Encoder
to set a loop range starting from the current playback position.
6. Section. Encoder selects the next or previous region. Navigation
and Rewind/Fast Forward buttons control region nudging.
7. Bank. Encoder and navigation buttons select the next or previous bank.
Pressing and holding the Macro button and turning the encoder clockwise
will jump to the last bank of channels in your project. Turning the encoder
counter-clockwise will jump to the first bank of channels in your project.
8. Marker. Encoder moves the playback position forward or backwards in the
timeline. Navigation buttons move through markers. Press and hold the
Marker button to engage Temporary Marker mode and use the scribble strips
to make a selection. Press and hold the left Shift button with the Marker
button to enable and latch Large Marker mode. See Section 4.4.2 for details.
