Transport Controls
Shift (Left). This button functions the same as the Shift button on
an MCU and provides an alternate function for noted buttons.
Link. This button functions the same as the Control button on
an MCU. While depressed, the group clutch is engaged and
channel strip groups will be temporarily disabled.
Macro. This button functions the same as the Option button on an MCU. Press
it while adjusting any given parameter to automatically set it to the minimum (if
decreasing) or maximum (if increasing) the value.
Bypass. This button function the same as the CMD/ALT button on an
MCU. Press while adjusting a parameter to enable fine-tuning.
While Track Mode is active, the Pan/Parameter encoder will control the pan position
for the currently selected track.

1. Stop. Stops playback. Press a second time to return to the project start
point, or the beginning of the nearest cycle area, if Cycle mode is active.
2. Loop. Engages / disengages cycle/loop playback.
Press and hold the Loop and Rewind button simultaneously to
set the cycle start point at the current timeline position.
Press and hold the Loop and Fast Forward buttons simultaneously
to set the cycle end point at the current timeline position.
3. Play / Pause. Starts playback at the current playback-cursor position.
Press again to restart playback at the previous play position. Hold
the Left Shift button and press Play to Pause playback.
4. Rewind. Press and hold to move the cursor backward through
the timeline. Repeated pressing will accelerate speed.
5. Fast Forward. Press and hold to move the cursor forwards through
the timeline. Repeated pressing will accelerate speed.
6. Record. Starts recording at the current playback-
cursor position for record-enabled tracks.
