Battery Installation
Replace battery when LCD becomes dim and weak or
alert level declines.
Note: Do not mix new batteries with old batteries.
1. Press the POWER button on the bottom of the
thermometer for 3 seconds to turn off the unit.
2. Remove battery cover on the bottom by sliding tab in
the direction of the arrow.
3. Install two 1.5V AAA batteries observing polarity
shown in compartment. A brief alarm sounds and the
display flashes all segments.
4. Replace the battery cover until it clicks shut.
App Installation
1. Make sure that your mobile device is compatible with
the CDN-BT482 app:
a. iOS 7.1 and above OR Android OS 4.3 or above
b. Bluetooth
4.0 capable (Bluetooth

2. Launch the App Store or Google Play app on your
mobile device.
3. Search for CDN-BT482 ( ).
4. Select and install the CDN-BT482 app on your
mobile device.
