"Empty Drip Tray" Message, But Drip Tray Isn't Full

Cause:
Drip tray was emptied as the appliance was switched off. The amount of water flowing
into the drip tray is registered by the flow meter. When a certain amount is reached,
the "Empty drip tray" message will be displayed. The value for the water amount is
saved when the appliance is switched off; emptying the drip tray after shutoff will not
change this value. See also Section 001-2.5.
Remedy:
Not a fault!
Cause:
Water that would otherwise run into the drip tray was collected in a container instead.
The amount of water flowing into the drip tray is registered by the flow meter. When a
certain amount is reached, the "Empty drip tray" message will be displayed. See also
Section 001-2.5.
Remedy:
Not a fault!

cappuccino, latte macchiato or caffé latte, after the milk is heated the heater must be
cooled down for the coffee. For cooling, water is pumped through the heater and into
the drip tray.
Remedy:
Not a fault!
