Fit the four legs to the dust separator. Check levelling and fix firmly to the
foundation.
For anchoring the FlexFilter EX to the foundation see chapter 10. Installation.
NOTE! To ensure proper grounding one set of serrated washers must be
fitted on each leg. The serrated washers must be fitted against both the dust
separator frame and the leg to ensure proper grounding.
Stand cross beams
Fit the cross beams loosely according to picture no. 14. One cross beam
consists of two pieces of square beams of equal length connected with screws,
nuts and washers.
NOTE! The side and rear cross beams are of different lengths.
Attach the cross beams to the legs. The two side beams shall be placed as
shown in picture no. 14. The cross beam can be placed either at the front (A)
of the frame or in the rear (B) (as shown) depending on required access to the
FlexFilter.
NOTE! The ends of the cross beams should be fitted firmly onto the stand.
Carefully tighten the gap between the cross beam parts, ensuring that the legs
are not bent and that they are vertical and parallel. Tighten the nuts A on the
four supports until the FlexFilter EX is stable and lock them in position using
the nuts B.
TVFD
Lift and position the TVFD as shown in picture no. 15 A.
Remove the upper cover (see picture no. 15 B / 1) of the upper slide valve
(USV) to access the inside of the valve.
Fit the bolts to secure the TVFD to the filter. Refit the upper cover (see picture
no. 15 B / 1).
NOTE! To avoid the two centre bolts from interfering with the valve, two
washers must be fitted top side on each of the two centre bolts (see picture
no. 15 B / 2).
NOTE! To ensure proper grounding, serrated washers must be fitted to one of
the bolts on both bolt and nut side. (see picture no. 15 B / 3).
Control panel
The control panel is pre fitted for front (A) access, but can be re arranged
according to picture no. 16 (A for front access or B for rear access).
Cable and hose routing
Cut and release the cable bundle from TVFD. Route the cable bundle up
towards the top module attaching it to the clamps (see picture no. 17 / A-C).
Fit the cleaning valve to the top module (see picture no. 17 / C).
