    1.5 Rack Mounting IT8511G+/IT8511AG+/IT8512G+/IT8512BG+ loads can be installed on standard 19-inch rack. ITECH provides user with IT-E151/IT-E151A rack, as an optional mount kit. The detailed operation please refer to the User Manual of your mount kit. 1.6 Connect quick charge test interface card (optional) IT-E164 is an optional accessory for IT8511G+, which facilitates the connection of the DUT during the quick charging test.

    Help you better use this series of loads. 2.1 Brief Introduction IT8500G+ series is a single-channel programmable electronic load with power ranges from 150W to 300W and resolution up to 0.1mV/ 0.1mA. IT8500G+ series has multiple test functions such as quick charge, dynamic, automatic test, list, battery and short circuit.

    Quick Start 2.4 Front Panel Keys IT8500G+ series electronic load different models have different front panel keys. The keys in the key area of IT8511G+/IT8511AG+ are as shown in the figure below. The keys in the key area of IT8512G+/IT8512BG+ are as shown in the figure below.

    9. 3.10.2 OCP Test Function IT8500G+ series electronic load supports the over current protection (OCP) test function. In the OCP mode, when input voltage reaches VON point, the DC load start to draw a current from the source after a delay time. The current value will increase by a certain step size at regular intervals.

    RUNMODE to NORMAL. 3.10.3 OPP Test Function IT8500G+ series electronic load supports the over power protection (OPP) test function. In the OPP mode, when input voltage reaches VON point, the DC load start to draw a power from the source after a delay time.
  • Page 41: Battery Discharge Test

    The test mode should be set first, and then the discharge stop conditions. There are three discharge stop conditions to be set for IT8500G+ series products, which are STOP VOLT, STOP CAP, and STOP TIMER. When any of the three conditions is satisfied, the discharge is stopped and the electronic load is automatically switched to the OFF state.

    3.10.6 Measurement of Voltage Rise Time The IT8500G+ series electronic load is provided with special voltage rise/drop time measurement function. This function gives a simple analog of voltage rise/drop speed of oscilloscope test power.

Multiple loads (up to 16 channels, which can be composed of different types of loads of the same series) are cascaded through the System Bus to realize the synchronization of input On/Off or working mode and other parameter settings.
