NOTE: The Star-Blender 400 Silent door must be closed and its handle squeezed in the upper foam.
Installation
Remove the Star-Blender 400 Silent from its packing and place it on a flat, stable surface. Connect the power
lead to the rear of the unit and put the switch in position "I". The displays will light up and a green light will flash
at the bottom of the front side. The unit is now ready to use.
If the unit has been stored at a temperature below 10°C, allow it to return to room temperature before operating.
Intended use
The Star-Blender 400 Silent is lab paddle blender. It is used to prepare microbiological samples, in blender bags,
prior to their analysis. The Star-Blender 400 Silent put into a suspension the germs present in a solid sample to
be analyzed.
The samples to be analyzed with the Star-Blender 400 Silent can weigh between 10 and 40 grammes before
dilution. The total recommended volume in the bag should not exceed 400 mL.
