4-3. OPM-11 BOARD (CSP-5000E/CSPB-520VC) ALIGNMENT
Machine conditions for adjustment
Preparations
1. Set the dip switches as follows (Re-setting only)
S102(1,4): ON
S102(5): PAL
S104(2): ON
2. Select the channel group (slot) (In case of ch 1 - ch 8)
Select channels 1 through 8 (slot 1) using jumper pins. (See the chart on the next page)

Install the OPM-11 extension board, EXP-11 in slot 1.
3. Perform the PLL adjustment of the character generator (See below) for each of the channels (ch 1 - ch 8). Then, repeat the same
adjustments as above for the other channel groups (slots), if required.
4. Perform the size adjustment of the character generator (See below) for each of the channels (ch 1 - ch 8). Then, repeat the same
adjustments as above for the other channel groups (slots), if required.
PLL Adjustment of Character
Generator
1. Feed color-bar signals into the video
(camera) IN, and select it using the
keyboard.
2. Connect a monitor TV to ch 1.
3. Connect an oscilloscope as follows:
CH1: TP101
CH2: TP122
4. Similarly, repeat the adjustments for
ch 2 through ch 8. The appropriate
test points and variable resistors
are shown in the following chart.
5. Repeat the adjustments for the other
channel groups (slots), if required.
VB changes as shown in the
following chart.
Size Adjustment of Character
Generator
1. Set S102(2) to TEST.
2. Press the S103 RESET.
3. Feed color-bar signals into the video
(camera) IN, and select it using the
keyboard.
4. Connect a monitor TV to ch 1.
5. Similarly, repeat the adjustments
for ch 2 through ch 8. The
appropriate trimmer capacitors are
shown in the following chart.
6. Repeat the adjustments for the other
channel groups (slots), if required.
VB changes as shown in the
following chart.
7. Upon completion, return the S102
(2) to NORMAL.
