Standard connection of the cable to the M12 connector against the socket on the meter's
body:
The OUT1 and OUT2 impulse outputs are implemented by a PNP transistor, the emitter of
which is internally connected to VCC and with its collector connected to connector M12,
whereas it is an active output.
The OUT1 is used for remote transmission of volumetric impulses and for metrological
verification of the flow meter. Conversion constant and pulse width are set by the
manufacturer during production.
OUT2 can be configured by the manufacturer during production to the following options:
- Volumetric impulses in positive direction of flow IMP +
- Volumetric impulses in negative direction of flow IMP -
- Indication of the direction in which the medium flows
- Flow switch functions
- Shift phase
The transistor rating should be selected so that its limit parameters cannot be exceeded
(200mA/100mW max.).
Maximum frequency of the impulse output is 16kHz.
