Daily Inspection
Engine oil level, as well as the servo fluid and
coolant levels in the bus should be checked
on a daily basis. The checks are carried out
with the engine warm, but switched off.
Note: It is a good idea to do these checks
after a tour as the engine is then at normal
operating temperature.
All tanks are located in the back of the bus.
Engine
When checking the oil level:
•
position the bus on level ground.
•
if the engine is cold, let it idle for 1-2
minutes
•
turn the engine off. Wait at least 2 minutes
before carrying out the check
•
remove the dipstick and wipe it with a
clean cloth
•
check the oil level with the dipstick. The
oil level should be between MAX and
MIN
•
top up if necessary.
