Releasing the Parking Brake
Release the Parking Brake with Air from the Bus Tires.
1 To prevent the bus from moving, block its
wheels or attach it to a tow vehicle.
2 Connect the clamp head of the tire inflation
hose to the valve of one of the tires.
3 Move the parking brake control to the
drive position.
4 While pressing the other end of the tire
inflation hose against the pump nipple,
press in the blocking valve. Now the brake
system is filled with the air from the tire.
Filling can be interrupted as soon as the
air flow stops.
Note: Chock the wheels to prevent the bus
from moving when releasing the parking
brake.
