Protecting your phone from an unauthorized use

You can set the security lock for call origination only, Phone Book only, or all operations. You
need the security code for the security lock. If the security lock is set, you'll have to enter a
security code before using your PT-H99.
To set the security lock:

In standby mode, press ,
, and successively.

Key in your security code.
The security code is a 4-digit number,
and should be the one you easily
remember.

Press after you key in the
new security code.

Turn the Easy Shuttle to select
a security function: "MAKE A
CALL", "PHONE BOOK" or
"ALL OPERATION".
In this example, the security lock is set
for the PHONE BOOK.

Prees , and turn the Easy
Shuttle to select "LOCK".

Press , and key in your
security code.
