This interface enables the connection of an external video
device (e.g. DVD Player, DVB-T Tuner) to display-based Audi
and VW navigation systems.
Options to adjust contrast, brightness and/or colour saturation
are provided. The interface allows controlling the connected
video source(s) using the navigation system controls.
The following navigation systems are supported:
Audi Navi Plus RNS-D and VW MFD1
Supported video systems: PAL / NTSC
ACC +12V (max. 500mA)
+12V rear-view camera (max. 1A)
Ground rear-view camera
Switch to rear-view camera (+12V = switching on)

  • Page 3 3. Connect 10pin connector of harness C1C-VW01 to the female 10pin connector of the navigation unit. 4. Connect the corresponding control cable to the jack socket. Additionally, the available Y-adapter (sold separately) may be used to enable the connection of the IR-remote receiver of a video source parallel to the interface itself.
  • Page 4 Function and controls Activation Push the AUDIO button of VW as the case may be the RADIO/CD/TV of Audi to activate the TV/AV input. Device assignment Longpress the AS button (VW) as the case may be the MODE button (Audi) to assign device control.
  • Page 5 Controls: The video source is controlled using various buttons of the navigation. Pushing the upper right knob for a prolonged time switches between device controls.
