6. The body is attached to the chassis at 4 positions. At
each position, hold the chassis with one hand and
remove the front cover with a fast and short pull.
7. Install in opposite sequence.
Note: Make sure the that the grommets are correctly
installed to seal against moisture.

6.4 To remove and install the upper chassis

1. Remove the body. Refer to
the body on page 13 .
2. Remove the 14 screws.

3. Remove the warranty seal at the point of separation
between the chassis halves on the right side.
4. Lift the front end of the upper chassis.
5. Disconnect the power cables (A) from the motor
control circuit board.

CAUTION: Always disconnect the power
cables first to prevent current spikes that
may harm the circuit boards or the battery.
6. Disconnect the cable (B) and the cable (C) from the
motor control circuit board.
7. Remove the upper chassis.
8. Install in opposite sequence.
