You can create a play list by gathering your favourite chapters
(l 33) from your recordings. You can also edit the created play
list.

≥Editing play lists doesn't modify the recorded data.
≥Play lists are not recorded separately so this doesn't use much
capacity.
≥The maximum number of items on a disc:
- Titles: 99
- Chapters: Approximately 1000 (Depends on disc contents.)

∫ Creating play lists

Preparation
≥Release protection (disc l 30, cartridge l 18).
≥Press [DVD].

Set up
SETUP DISC SETTING
[2] Select "PLAY LIST" with [3, 4, 2, 1] and
press [ENTER].
[3] Select "Create" with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press
[ENTER].
[4] Use [2, 1] to select the source title and press
[4].
∫ When you want to select all chapters in the title:
≥Use [2, 1] to select the source title and press [ENTER], then
skip to step 6.
≥Repeat 4-6 to add other titles or chapters.
[5] Use [2, 1] to select the chapter you want to
add to a play list and press [ENTER].
≥Press [3] to cancel.
≥You can also create a new chapter from the source title.
Press [SUB MENU] to select "Divide Chapter" and press
[ENTER] (l 35, "Divide Chapter").
[6] Use [2, 1] to select the position to insert the
chapter and press [ENTER].
Chapters in PLAY LIST
Press RETURN to exit.
≥Repeat steps 5–6 to add other chapters.
≥Press [3] to select other source titles.
[7]
Press [RETURN].
∫ To stop partway through
Press [RETURN].
∫ To clear the play list screen
Press [RETURN].
For your reference
≥You may not be able to specify start and end points if the material
is still pictures recorded on other equipment.
