USB Type A is not applicable to PMPN4500.

The IMPRES
care system. All you need to do is follow these simple steps:
1. Place the radio/IMPRES battery into the charger.
2. Remove the radio/IMPRES battery when it is fully charged (LED
turns steady GREEN).
The charger pockets accommodate either a radio with an IMPRES
battery attached and/or an IMPRES battery alone.
Additionally, the charger is equipped with a USB Type A Power Output
that facilitates the charging of accessories up to a maximum 7.5 W of
power (5 V at 1500 mA). This USB Type A Power Output only provides
charge as it becomes available from the charger. The charge priority is
given to Radio Charging and Battery Charging.
