6.2 Odour extraction (only with the #WD1014)

The DuraSystem
toilet frame #WD1014 has an odour extraction function. This can be
®
activated and deactivated automatically or manually. The run-on time and extraction
power can be set via the remote control.

Manually activating/deactivating the odour extraction

If you do not stop the odour extraction manually, it stops automatically at the end of
the set run-on time (see table 4: Odour extraction).
AUTO
Activating/deactivating the automatic odour extraction
The automatic odour extraction is triggered if a person is in the intermediate range or
range 2 of the presence detection for at least 2 seconds (see 1.3 Presence detection).
You can deactivate the automatic odour extraction and also activate it again via your
remote control (see table 4: Odour extraction).
> Press the "Odour extraction (auto)" preselection button on your remote control.
The left status LED on the control panel lights up blue. You now have 4 seconds to
deactivate (activate) the automatic odour extraction.
> Press the "OFF" ("ON") setting button.
The right status LED flashes. The odour extraction is deactivated (activated).
It is possible to control the odour extraction manually even when automatic mode is
activated (see "Manually activating/deactivating the odour extraction" section).
The odour extraction can be controlled
manually via the actuator plate at any time.
> Hold your hand in front of the "Odour
extraction" button.
The odour extraction is started/stopped.
