Daily Inspection

The following items should be inspected once every day before the vehicle is put into service:
• External frame damage (body).
• Operation of all lights, warning alarms.
• Inspect for leaking fluids or grease.
• Tire tread or sidewall damage.
• Smooth and proper operation of all controls:
• Treadle
• Steering
• Horn
• Parking brake
• Hitch release
• Park brake
• Direction control switch
• High-Low speed switch
• Proper operation of all locking devices:
• Battery doors
• Tilt steering
• Proper operation of all interlocking switches:
• Start switch
• Operator presence switch
• Battery door switches

Pre-Operation Inspection

The following items should be inspected every time before the vehicle is driven:
• Steering operation.
• Brake operation (service and park brake).
• Visual inspection of tire pressure (pneumatic tires only).
WARNING
Remove cargo before raising or servicing vehicle. Failure to remove the cargo may result
in cargo falling from the vehicle causing severe personal injury and/or property damage.
