Press the USE/LEARN selector button with the tip of a pen,
etc., to set the learn mode.
9 OPERATION
Before operating

Refer to "CONNECTIONS" (pages 6 to 13) and check that all
connections are correct.

Set the remote control unit's slide
switch to the AUDIO position. (only
when operating with the remote
control unit)

Turn on the power.
Press the POWER switch (button).

When pressed, the power turns on and the display lights. The sound
is muted for several seconds, after which the unit operates normally.
When pressed again, the power turns off, the standby mode is set
and the display turns off.
Whenever the ON/STANDBY button is in the STANDBY state, the
apparatus is still connected on AC line voltage. Please be sure to
unplug the cord when you leave home for, say, a vacation.

Select the front speakers.
Press SPEAKER A or B turn the speaker on.

To clear "learned" remote control signals, set the slide switch
to the position at which the signals were "learned".

Set the slide switch to the position at which the signals were
"learned".

Press the SYSTEM CALL SET button, and hold it in for at least
four seconds.
• When both the START and LEARNED/TX LEDs light
simultaneously, all the stored codes are cleared.
