System requirements
• HDMI video source, such as a computer or Blu-ray™ player
• HDMI display with cabling
• CAT5e or CAT6 cabling with enough length to reach from the
location of your video source to the location of your display
About this product
HDBaseT is a standardized, zero-latency video distribution
technology that's revolutionizing HDMI distribution. HDBaseT uses
an advanced method of modulation that enables you to distribute
uncompressed HDMI audio and video over standard network
cabling. This extender kit turns your HDMI signal into an HDBaseT
signal, which enables you to extend your source signal to the
HDBaseT receiver up to 70 m away.
Preparing your site
1. Set up your local HDMI enabled video source in your desired
location.
2. Set up your remote HDMI display in your desired location.
Notes:
• Ensure the transmitter is situated near a USB power source.
• Ensure the receiver is situated near an AC outlet.
• Ensure all devices are turned off before you begin the
installation.
