V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- JET pump (alone or in a booster group) is designed to draw clear water.
- It must be installed in a dry, ventilated place, protected from weather and excessive heat.
- The maximum suction height should not exceed 8 meters.
- Properly installed, your pump will operate with maximum efficiency and will give you complete
satisfaction.
- The pump is designed for routine household uses such as gardening, irrigation systems, increased water
pressure distribution in non-food, pumping water tanks...
- The pump must not be used for operations not described in this manual.
It should not be used in particular for:
- pumping seawater, waste water, water containing solids, sand or abrasive particles in suspension,
water containing corrosive substances in general.
- pumping water having a temperature above 35°C.
- pumping of explosive, flammable or dangerous liquids.
- pumping water intended for human consumption or food liquids.
NOTE:
- This pump is not intended for cleaning and other pool maintenance operations.
- The pump must not be used in outdoor fountains, garden ponds and similar places.
- The pump is not designed for industrial and / or commercial applications (eg, in public parks, sports
fields ...).
Additional information for booster pump
The booster optimizes the water supply by limiting repeated on/off, and especially allows maintaining a
constant pressure in the system.

5.2- Operation

- Proceed with the suction and discharge lines connections described in chapter 4 above.
- Press the on / off switch (5).
- The pump turns on when you open the terminal (e.g. water tap, spray gun...)
Additional Information for booster pump
- The pump starts and stops automatically when the pressure in the vessel is approximately 3 bar.
- Slowly open the discharge valve. The pump begins to discharge, without its engine running, through the
water supply in the tank.
- When the pressure in the tank drops below about 1.5 bar, the pump starts and remains on until the
pressure of the tank reach about 3 bar.
- To stop the pump cycles, slowly close the discharge valve.
- Always follow these instructions to avoid creating excess pressure in the system and avoid "water
hammer" effect.
5.3- Advise for users
IMPORTANT!
- Do not operate the pump without water in the pump body: extended operation of the pump when the
discharge valve is closed, can seriously damage the pump.
- In case of power failure, it is best to unplug the power outlet.
- In case of prolonged non-use, ensure to switch off the power.
