Unit Start-Up Procedure

e. Check for warm air delivery at the supply air grilles
within a few minutes after the unit has begun to
operate and that the loop water temperature drop is
within normal range.
NOTE: Allow three (3) minutes between tests for pressure to
equalize before beginning cooling test.

Finally, set the unit to the Cooling Mode Set the unit
manual operating mode to Cooling.
a.
Verify that the compressor is on and that the water
temperature rise (cooling mode) is within normal
range.
b.
Check for cool air delivery at the supply air grilles
within a few minutes after the unit has begun to
operate.
c.
Check the elevation and cleanliness of the
condensate lines. Dripping may be a sign of a
blocked line. Check that the condensate trap is filled
to provide a water seal.
7.
If unit fails to operate properly, perform troubleshooting
analysis (see troubleshooting section in this manual).
If the check described fails to reveal the problem and
the unit still does not operate, contact a trained service
technician to insure proper diagnosis and repair of the
equipment.
8.
When testing is complete, exit the Manual Operation
Menu and set thermostat to maintain desired comfort
level for normal operation.
9.
BE CERTAIN TO FILL OUT AND RETURN ALL
WARRANTY REGISTRATION PAPERWORK.
NOTE: To obtain maximum performance, the air coil should
be cleaned before start-up. A 10% solution of dishwasher
detergent and water is recommended.
