TRANSPORT & STORAGE
The contained Lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dangerous Goods Legislation
requirements.
For commercial transport e.g. by third parties, forwarding agents, special requirement on
packaging and labelling must be observed.
For preparation of the item being shipped, consulting an expert for hazardous material is
required. Please also observe possibly more detailed national regulations.
Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up the battery in such a manner that it cannot
move around in the packaging.
Secure the machine during transport.
Always remove the battery for storage or transport from the machine and charger.
Store the battery & charger in a dry, moisture free & frost free space.
To prevent accidents, ensure the battery is not connected to the machine or charger
when stored.
Do not store the battery in places where static electricity can occur. Never store the
battery in a metal box.
Store the battery & charger at normal room temperature in an enclosed, dry space. Do
not use or store the battery & charger in direct sunlight.
Store the equipment in a lockable area so that it is out of reach of children &
unauthorised persons.
Ensure the machine is cleaned & that a complete service is carried out before long-term
storage.
Fully charge the battery before storage of over 2 months. A discharged battery that is
stored without charging can be damaged.
If the battery is not charged for a long time, charge the battery for 2 hours every 2
months.

DISPOSAL

Symbols on the product or its packaging indicate that this product cannot be handled as
domestic waste. It must be submitted to an appropriate recycling station for the recovery of
electrical and electronic equipment.
By ensuring that this product is taken care of correctly, you can help to counteract the
potential negative impact on the environment and people that can otherwise result in the
incorrect waste management of this product.
