Canada. T hislimited warrantyis onlye_testtse uponpresentaUon of a billof sale or other proof of purchaseforthis Canondigitalvideoequipmentto a
CanonServicePaciiitywhenrepairsare required.
Canonconsumerdigital videoequipmentis warrantedundernormal,non-commerciaL personaluse, againstdetacUve materialsor workmanshipas
fOllOWS:
Parts:Defectivepartswill beexchangedfornew parts or,at CanonCanada'soption,comparable rebuiltpartsfor a pedodof oneyearfrom the dateof
originalpurchase, e xceptVideoHeads which wiii be exchanged fora periodof g monthsfrom thedate of purchase.
Labour:Fora periodof one yearfrom thedateof odginalpurchase, l eqourwill beprovidedfreeof charge byour CanonServicePacilitiesin Canada.
This limitedwarranty coversaii defects exceptwhere:
(a)Thelossor damagetotile productresultsfrom:
i) accident,natural disaster, m ishandling, a buse,neglect,unauthorizedproductmodificationor failureto followinstrucRons containedin tile
instructionmanual;
if) foe use ofaeeessodes, a NachmeMs, producta,suppfies, p arts ordeviceswtih foisCanonprodutathat do notconform ta Canon
spacificationsor that causeabnormallyfrequent serviceproblems;
iii) reqaUsor servicespartormeqby anyparty other foana CanonServiceFacility;
iv) detactivebatiedesor anyexpesurefo wafor,saodor dirt;
v) shipping(cldm mustbepresentodto foe shippet);
(b)Anyserial numberon thevideo equipmentisdforeq or removed.
(c)Thedigitalvideo equipmentisusedfor commercial,protassional o r iodustdalpurposes.
Thislimited warrantydoesnot covertile cabinet (exterior f inish) of the digitalvideoequipment,DVDdiscs,nor doesitapply todigital videoequipment
purchased outside Canada.

ShipyourCanondigital videoequipmentin its odgin_ car:on, boxor equivalent, p roperlypacked,fully insured with shippingchargesprepaid,
togetherwith a copyof yourbill of sale or other proof of parodaseand a desctiNionof the problemto any of the CanonServicePaciliRes i n Canada.
LIMITATIONS
Exceptas otherwiserequiredby appficablelegislation,this warrantyis in lieuof all other warranges,conditions,guarantees or representations,
expressor implied,sfotataryor otherwise,relativeto this Canonproduct,includingimpliedwarrantiesor conditionsof merchantability or fitness for a
particularpurpose.
CanonCanadaassumes noliability for special,consequential or incideMd damagesor lossfoat nlayarise, whetheronaccountof negligenceor
otherwise,from the use,misuseor inabilityto use thisCanonproduct(includinglossof profit,revenue,discs or enjoyment)or from tailureto conform
to any expressor impliedwarranties,conditions,guarantees or representations. A nyrecoveryunderthis lingtodwarranty shall notexceedtile
purchasepriceof the product.CanonCanadadoesnotassumeor authorizeany other personta assumefor CanonCanadaanyofoer liabilitywith
respectta this Canonproduct.
