Activation of a new firmware upgrade is performed
through a soft reset. The reset command is available
through an SNMP operation as well as a menu item
upon successful completion of a firmware upgrade.
This reset will cause a service outage of no more than
2 seconds. The provisioning of the TSI-MUX
configuration will be preserved through a firmware
upgrade with the exception of modified features.

Figure 8 represents the TSI-MUX In-band
Management Menu screen. This screen allows user
access to view status information for the High Speed
Maintenance Channel (HSMC) and to set up the
in-band management channel.
