  • Page 4: Step 1: Rear Wheel Axle

    Tip the unit forward and balance it with a helper. Place rear wheel axle assembly on chipper using supplied bolts. Install the bolts from the outside with the nuts on the inside. Lower the unit back to rest on the wheels. 4 | OPC506(G) man.

    ASSEMBLY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP 2: REAR WHEELS Remove all hardware from the axle. Install the wheel with stem facing out, then large washer, then nut. Turn by hand to tighten, back off nut to align hole, insert the pin and secure as shown. Align the wheel cap in the groove and tap lightly with a rubber mallet or a block of wood and hammer until seated evenly into the groove.

    Assemble the tow stand and insert the hitch pin. Lower the unit back to level and rest on the drop stand. Insert the tow bar and secure with the tow bar screw lock. 6 | OPC506(G) man.

    ASSEMBLY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP 4: FEED CHUTE Install the feed chute on the two hinges. To seat the hinge pins for the first time, a rubber mallet may be used to tap the pins into the hinges. These are tight fitting to reduce vibration noise. Close the chute and latch it.

    ASSEMBLY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP 6: CHIP CHUTE Install the chip chute on the hinges. Swing the chute closed and latch it. NOTE: A rubber mallet may be used if needed to seat the hinges for the first time install. Moving the hood back and forth also helps seat the hinges in place.

    Faites basculer l’unité vers l’avant et équilibrez-la avec un assistant. Placez l’ensemble d’essieux de la roue arrière sur la déchiqueteuse à l’aide des boulons fournis. Installez les boulons de L’EXTÉRIEUR avec les écrous à L’INTÉRIEUR. Abaissez l’unité pour qu’elle repose sur les roues. 4 | OPC506(G) man.

    MONTAGE INSTRUCTIONS ÉTAPE PAR ÉTAPE ÉTAPE 2 : ROUES ARRIÈRE Retirez toute la quincaillerie de l’essieu. Installez la roue avec la tige tournée vers l’extérieur, puis la grande rondelle, puis l’écrou, puis tournez à la main pour serrer, desserrez l’écrou pour aligner le trou et insérez la goupille et fixez-la comme illustré.

REMARQUE : Un maillet en caoutchouc peut être utilisé si nécessaire pour installer la charnière pour la première installation. Le déplacement du capot d’avant en arrière permet également de mettre les charnières en place.
