2nd Local Oscillator Adjustment
Disconnect the coaxial cable (D/MP version) or
dummy plug (Contest version) from J3007 on the
LOCAL Unit, then connect the RF millivoltmeter
to J3007.
Confirm that the RF millivoltmeter reading is
more than –3 dBm.
Adjust T3006 and T3008 on the LOCAL Unit for
maximum deflection on the RF millivoltmeter.
Re-connect the coaxial cable or dummy plug to
J3007.
Disconnect the coaxial cable from J3005 on the
LOCAL Unit, then connect the RF millivoltmeter
to J3005.
Confirm that the RF millivoltmeter reading is
more than –3 dBm.
Re-connect the coaxial cable to J3005.
VCV Voltage Adjustment
Connect the DC voltmeter (Hi-Impedance) to
TP3022 on the LOCAL Unit.
Adjust TC3001 on the LOCAL Unit for 2.0 V (±0.1
V) on the DC voltmeter.

LOCAL UNIT A
Scope 2nd Local Oscillator (MAIN) Adjustment
Press and hold in the [ANT1], [ANT3], and [RX
ANT] keys, while turning the radio on, to enter
the alignment mode.
Rotate the Main Dial knob to select the alignment
parameter "A43."
Disconnect the coaxial cable from J3012 on the
LOCAL Unit, then connect the RF millivoltmeter
to J3012.
Adjust T3002, T3011, and T3013 on the LOCAL
Unit for maximum deflection on the RF
millivoltmeter (more than –13 dBm).
Re-connect the coaxial cable to J3012.
Scope 2nd Local Oscillator (SUB) Adjustment
Rotate the Main Dial knob to select the alignment
parameter "B43 (D/MP versions)" or "A43 (Con-
test version)."
Disconnect the coaxial cable from J3013 on the
LOCAL Unit, then connect the RF millivoltmeter
to J3013.
Adjust T3003, T3007, and T3009 on the LOCAL
Unit for maximum deflection on the RF
millivoltmeter (more than –13 dBm).
Re-connect the coaxial cable to J3013.
