Product Overview

5.1 Overview

When in use, the pump should be plugged into a
permanent mains supply. The air cell pressure in
the mattress is regulated by an electronic control
unit, connected via umbilical tubes. Alternating
pressures within the air cells allow the mattress
to regularly reduce pressure and relieve skin
contact to aid blood and lymphatic flow to
vulnerable tissue.
The control unit is intended for continuous use.
The mattress and control unit are intended to be
positioned on compatible bed frames only.
When using the mattress without the pump, store
in a safe location and fasten the feed pipe to the
mattress using the retainer clips provided at the
foot end.
