Energy saving tips
Economy heating/cooling
Use optimised
operation.
Set the required room
temperature in accordance with your personal
temperature
preferences.
The heat pump saves the most
energy when it is constantly in optimised
operation.
Fully open the thermostatic valves in all the
rooms.
Only
increase the temperature setting at the user interface if the
room hasn't reached the temperature you require after
some
time.
If it gets too hot in a particular room
,
only close
the thermostatic valve in that room.
If a remote control is installed in your living space, it can
'
capture the room temperature to optimise control
accuracy if set up
accordingly.
Keep the user interface
away from external heat sources
(e. g.
solar
exposure,
tiled
stoves.
etc.).
Otherwise undesirable fluctuations of the
room temperature may result.
Never position large objects such as a sofa immediately in
front of radiators (maintain a clearance of at least 50 cm)
.
Otherwise,
the heated air cannot circulate and heat or cool
the room
adequately.
Make sure that the temperature at which cooling should
start is not set too
low.
Cool
109 the living space also
consumes
energy.
Venting property
Briefly open the windows fully instead of only a
little.
When
windows are open a
little,
heat is constantly drawn out of the
room without really improving the ambient
air.
When venting the room, close the thermostatic valves on the
radiators or turn the room thermostat
down.
DHW heiltlng on demand
Use the time program for DHW heating automatic
mode.

FAQ
Why do I set a set room
temperature,
even though
it is not
recorded?
By setting the room
temperature,
you change the heating
curve.
Changing the heating
curve,
changes the temperature of
the heating
water,
and therefore also the temperature of the
radiators or underfloor heating
system.
Why do the radiators get too hot with
a
high
outdoor
temperature?
Even in summer mode radiators can heat up for a short period
in special circumstances, such as when the circulation pump
starts automatically at a certain interval to prevent it
"jaming"
(blocking)
.
If the circulation pump should by chance start
Energy saving tips
immediately after the heating up of hot water the residual heat
that is not used is moved away via the heating circuit and the
radiators.
Why does the pump run at
night.
even though the home
is
not being heated at all or only very
little?
If the outside temperature falls below a certain set
point,
the
heating system operates to prevent the system from freezing
up (frost
protection).
Why does the additional heat source run when the time
program switches from setback to heating?
After an extended period in setback
mode,
the additional heat
source and the heat pump may be activated in order to reach
the required heating water
temperature.
Shorter setback
phases or not using setback mode at all increases comfort and
prevents this heat-up behaviour from
occurring.
The meawed room temperlture is
hicher
than the
required room
temperature.
Why
Is
the heat
source
nevertheless
running?
The heat source may be heating hot water.
Your system can be set to
2 different types of control
(7
Chapter 2.2, page
4).
With weather-compensated control (including with room
temperature influence)
,
the heat source can still operate even
if the measured room temperature is higher than the set room
temperature.
Adjoining rooms are hence always sufficiently
heated without their own remote control.
Why
does
the heating not switch off even though the
outside temperature hilS reached the
temperature
threshold set for summer shutdown?
Summer shutdown based on the outside temperature takes the
thermal inertia of the heated building mass into account
(damping due to building type).
Therefore,
when the
temperature is reached during the transitional
period,
it takes a
few hours before switchover actually
occurs.

Eliminate fault
9.1
Eliminating
"sensed"
faults
A
·sensed"
fault can have various
causes,
which can usually
be
eliminated by taking simple
steps.
If it is too cold or hot for
you,
for
example,
the following table
will help you eliminate
"sensed" faults.
