Filling and venting the solar circuit

Danger
Overheated collector areas and overheated heat
transfer medium can cause burns/scalding and
equipment damage.
When working on the collector and the solar cir-
cuit with heat transfer medium, protect the col-
lector areas against insolation.
1. Check the pre-charge pressure of the expansion
vessel.

Cleaning the DHW cylinder

Danger
Uncontrolled escape of DHW or heat transfer
medium can cause scalding and building dam-
age.
Only open DHW and heating water connections
with a depressurised DHW cylinder.
!
Please note
Negative pressure in the DHW cylinder can
cause material damage.
The air vent valve must always be open when
draining the DHW cylinder with a vacuum pump.

2.
Please note
Unsuitable heat transfer media result in
appliance damage.
Only fill the solar circuit with Tyfocor LS.
3. Vent the solar circuit.
Minimum system pressure:
1.7 bar (0.17 MPa)
Permiss. operating pressure:
6 bar (0.6 MPa)
!
Please note
Pointed or sharp-edged objects will damage the
DHW cylinder.
Use only suitable cleaning utensils to clean the
cylinder.
!
Please note
Cleaning agents containing hydrochloric acid
attack the DHW cylinder material.
Only use pH-neutral cleaning agents.
